Chateau de Pitray 歷史悠久，600百年來一直由Boigne家族適心管理，酒莊面積100多公頃，但葡萄園僅佔36公頃，其餘都是草地和樹林，原因是每代莊主都致力把城堡最自然美好的一面傳承給一代。莊園亦為了土瓖得到多樣性養份，所以一直未使用任何農藥或除草劑，這令到葡萄能夠在最天然優質的環境下生長。現任第25代莊主繼承了這份信念同時結合了個人技藝提升了葡萄酒質素，令酒莊的葡萄酒在多個國際比賽獲得獎項及高度評價。
