🏅Robert Parker 89 pts - Avril 2015, A blend of 73% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine comes from a small Estate that produces just 30,000 bottles. This is the brilliant duo of Jean-Philippe Fort and Michel Rolland who takes care of it. A big effort with lots of minerality, this dense ruby / purple wine has notes of black cherry, cassis and earth. He is moderately potent, ripe and solidly made. It is an undeniable success and one of the best wines that I have never tasted from this producer. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.

老梅耶酒莊最初由Isabelle Motte和Baudoin Motte夫婦共同創建於1994年,莊園佔地面積僅2.6公頃,但園內的土壤表面覆蓋有沙子和砂礫,而底部則為粘土,通透性良好。這種密度更大、溫度更低的土質是非常適合梅洛的生長,因此葡萄園內出產的梅洛葡萄與眾不同,釀造出的葡萄酒香氣濃郁且集中,極具深度。至2004年,酒莊出售予現任莊主,新莊主於2006年對酒莊進行全面革新及修建,並引進了一批全新的技術人員,同時亦請得世界著名的飛行釀酒師Michel Rolland為酒莊顧問以提升葡萄酒質素。莊主和釀酒團隊均非常悉心地照料每一棵葡萄樹,並且進行手工細化,使得每一粒葡萄果實都能夠得到充足的光照,有利葡萄健康成長。酒莊採用有機生態的管理方法,堅持做到不使用任何化學藥劑、抗生素、激素和殺蟲劑。當葡萄達到理想的成熟度,會使用全手工採摘,以盡量保持果實的完美狀態。而釀酒師則嚴格遵循釀酒工藝的每一條標準,在發酵過程中,使用傳統的水泥發酵罐進行發酵,並嚴格控制好溫度,之後會轉入橡木桶中陳釀18-24個月,最後在酒莊內裝瓶。所以每年出產的葡萄酒皆獲得眾多酒評家高分讚賞及愈見高質的趨勢。

📝實試筆記: 深邃厚實的紅寶石酒色。一開酒塞已噴發出濃郁豐富的漿果芳香,成熟多汁的李子、布冧、黑莓、黑加侖子等滿滿的黑色水果香,揉合可可豆、丁香、肉桂香料和橡木桶陳釀而出的雲尼拿奶油醇香,當中更伴著洽到好處的煙燻氣息,香氣可謂層層遞進,非常誘人。入口果感豐富,並帶著東方香料的辛辣及烤木材的炭燒韻味,酒體濃郁豐沛,結構平衡細緻,是一支令人想一再探索其味道深層變化的高質有趣酒款。
